Alina Gorgorian, Ph.D.

Dr. Alina Gorgorian is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). She earned her Ph.D. from Fordham University and completed clinical trainings at the Veterans Affairs (VA), and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

Dr. Gorgorian brings a diverse background spanning private practice, community mental health, and clinical leadership. In her current Pasadena-based practice, Dr. Gorgorian works with adults and couples navigating a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder, life transitions, career issues and relationship concerns.

Dr. Gorgorian also specializes in executive coaching and organizational consulting. She partners with leaders and teams to enhance leadership effectiveness, strengthen team dynamics, and cultivate psychologically-informed workplace cultures that drive lasting change.

Shannon Couture O’Flinn, Ph.D.

Dr. Shannon Couture O’Flinn is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned her doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She specializes in treating anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, and chronic worry. Dr. O’Flinn also has a particular interest in working with artists and individuals navigating life transitions that challenge their sense of meaning and purpose. She is extensively trained in evidence-based therapies including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), inference-based CBT for OCD, and EMDR.

In addition to her private practice, Dr. O’Flinn has consistently been involved in training the next generation of therapists. She spent nearly a decade teaching and supervising Ph.D. students in USC’s clinical psychology doctoral program, with a focus on evidence-based treatment for adults. Currently, she leads a CBT consultation group for psychiatry residents at Temple University, where she was recently recognized with a teaching award.

Lauren Steffel, Psy.D.

Dr. Lauren Steffel is a licensed clinical psychologist providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adults in CA, NY, VA, and FL. She specializes in mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD and complex trauma, borderline personality disorder, and substance use. With advanced training in DBT, CBT, and ACT, she helps clients regulate intense emotions, improve relationships, and build meaningful lives.

Dr. Steffel is also trained in gold-standard PTSD treatments—including Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, EMDR, and STAIR—and integrates Motivational Interviewing, harm reduction, and abstinence-based approaches for substance use. She is committed to working with diverse clients, including LGBTQIA+ individuals and those navigating major life transitions, and provides pro bono evaluations for asylum seekers.

Dr. Steffel earned her doctorate from Rutgers University and her B.A. from Yale, and has served as a clinical instructor in psychiatry at NYU Langone & Bellevue Hospital, as well as a psychologist in comprehensive DBT clinics in NY and NJ.
